Health Promotion in Nursing Practice (6th Edition) Reviews
I purchased this book in a Kindle edition. When I saw the sample of the book that was provided before I purchased it, I thought it would be fine. It was easy to read. However when I purchased this book as a Kindle, the font is too small to see, and the option to adjust or change the font to a larger size is not available for this book. I thought buying the Kindle edition was a good idea, but it was not.
This nursing textbook was required for my first class in my MSN program. What a great resource providing multifacet methods in providing health promotion and prevention for multicultural populations within all different age groups! Truly thought provoking information that will be forever used in practice! Thank you for such an intense and informational resource! Despite the hereditary factor, as a community we can continue to implement healthy living through promotion and prevention education to decrease the likelihood of disease to occur.
I needed this book for a class. So far, haven't used it much for this course.
Thorough, succinct information that I can give to my patients. Also updates me on nursing practices on how to promote healthy habits to people in the community.
came on time and exactly as described
This textbook was required for one of my classes. The information was good and easy to understand, but I would not have read this book on my own.
good reviews of several health promotion models that are helpful for planning intervention studies for community or individual health promotion.
Had to get it for grad school. It's okay. Nice size to stick in a purse/book bag to read in spare moments. Not too hard to understand.
